STORY
In the morning, after a winter storm, the trees above Lake Tahoe are at their most beautiful. However, as soon as the sun kisses the branches, the snowy cloak starts to melt away. Creating the perfect snowy forest image means rising before dawn and skiing in the dark to a favorite location. This image was taken at 8,000 feet just as the sun was first touching the trees.
