Bonsai rock is a favorite photographic subject for local photographers. Depending on the position of the camera, the time of day and the weather it can present so many different moods and artistic renditions. This image is the result of blending two separate exposures; one for the sky and one for the rocks. In Photoshop one then takes the best parts of each and puts them into one image. Cameras don't see as well as our eyes and this method compensates for the shortcomings of the camera.
