The winter of 2016-2017 brought record snowfall to the Tahoe region. The locals shoveled, shoveled, and shoveled some more but it was a great winter for photography as well. This is an image of Sand Harbor during a break between storms in February. The water was a little wavy but an 8-second exposure smoothed out the waves and let the color of the water show through.
